DITM Admission Process

The Admission to various programmes is done strictly on the basis of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Mains conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The students are called in consonance with their All India Rank scored by them in their respective JEE (Mains). The admission procedure is done centrally in two stages of counseling organized by the University.

Admission through Management Quota

DITM offers courses like B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral Entry). The candidates desirous for taking admission in these courses, are required to undergo JEE Main-I for B.Tech.

As per the GGSIP University norms 10% of the seats in each course are filled by the management quota on merit basis. The seats are advertised in newspapers for applications

B.Tech
Eligibility Conditions Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core / elective / functional) in the qualifying examination.
Admission Criteria The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE.
B.Tech ( Lateral entry to B.Tech Programme for diploma holders)
Eligibility Condition Three-years diploma in any of the following branches of Engineering / Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Diploma awarding institute / university / board recognized by AICTE:- Computer Engineering , Automobile Engineering , Chemical Engineering , Civil Engineering , Construction Engineering , Electrical Engineering , Electronics & Communication Engineering , Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical Engineering , Maintenance Engineering , Plastic Engineering , Printing Technology , Production Engineering , Public Health & Environmental Engineering , Tool & Die Making.
Admission Criteria The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE Main-I .
Note :Candidates with Diploma in Architecture are not eligible for lateral entry to Engineering / Technology degree programme.

Note:All courses are on Full Time Regular basis.
